SENIOR WOMEN'S COACH
Location: Sunbury, Victoria

This year marks a significant milestone with the launch of our Senior Women’s and Under 16s Girls teams.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Women’s Coach to lead our women’s program. This is a high-priority role at the club. You will be responsible for coaching the Senior Women’s team and providing strategic oversight and mentorship to our Under 16 Girls' coaching staff.
We are looking for a passionate football leader who brings more than just on-field knowledge. We want someone who is committed to building a team, growing individuals, and instilling belief and resilience in a group still finding its feet.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a structured and engaging training program.

Coach and lead the Senior Women’s team on game days.

Oversee the development pathway for our Under 16 Girls team.

Mentor and support assistant coaches and junior coaching staff.

Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive team culture.

Communicate regularly with the playing group, families, committee, and volunteers.

Collaborate with other club coaches and contribute to overall club development.
What We’re Looking For

A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and empowering female athletes.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills – on and off the field.

Proven leadership ability and experience in building team environments.

Good values and the ability to lead by example.

A sound knowledge of football tactics, skills development, and fitness.

A team-first mindset and a commitment to building a program from the ground up.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous experience coaching senior or junior women’s/community football.

AFL Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (minimum) or willingness to obtain.

Current Working With Children Check (mandatory).

A current driver’s license and access to reliable transport (preferred).
