ESFC Final game for 2015 season
This weekend marks the end of anther season, and with great success. This has been our best season to date with all side picking up wins.
Under 18 are still alive in the finals race which has been an exciting season for this young and talented group, and seeing what Daryl and Spita have got out of the boys will only leave us excited about what the future holds for the Thunder.
The reserves are looking to make history this weekend with a crushing win over Jacana last week they are looking to go back-back wins for the first time in club history. This is a great reward for a loyal group, they have seen the hard times and we feel the corner is turning and we are becoming more competitive in this area. To Mark and Pommy what an amazing job, this is one of the hardest jobs in football to coach the reserves and you boys have done our club proud.
The first side have seen improvement all season and I look forward to what next year holds, we have broken club records this season with the most amounts of wins in a season and I have seen a young group bond and gel as a team. We have not had it our own way this year but to Steve and his team you have done a brillante job this year to promote a heathy game plan and create a winning culture.
This week end we take on one of our biggest rivals in Burnside Heights Bears, and I am asking all parents, wives, girlfriends and supports of the Thunder to come out and support our boy’s. This season has seen our club grow and it requires the help and support of all members. This is sure to be a great weekend for the club and let’s finish the 2015 season on a high.
