B Grade Grand final

After what had been a tuff start to the B grade season with East’s losing their first five games, and upsetting the top of the ladder Rupo to be in the grand final against Diggers Rest was an amazing effort. After losing the toss Diggers chose to bat, It was Jessy Carroll who lead the way with five wickets, bowling Diggers Rest out for 118.

It was a nail bitter and with Diggers bowling well and runs hard to come by East’s fell short being bowled out for 115 with Liam Sherlock top scoring with 25. East sent Diggers back in to look at second innings points but Diggers were to strong and help off a strong bowling attack to win the game. Great effort by the club to get to this place and things are only looking up in the coming years.
