East Sunbury takes on Sanctuary lakes Football Club

The Thunder will kick off the season with a practice match against Sanctuary Lakes FC. SLFC are in the Western Region Football league and will be a great test for our growing club.

Head Coach Steve Grey said this will be a great hit out for the boys and an opportunity for players on the boarder to force his hand for round one selection. He said no one is a guarantee for round one and we all need to keep working hard.

Football Operations Manager Mark Hourigan said SLFC are no easy beats but did say they will be down a few numbers which will give the Thunder a great opportunity to get the season off to a great start.
