B Grade

East Sunbury took on United at Langama Park after scoring 6/196 with Shannon McDorman 70*, Liam Sherlock 40 and Pedro Bogdanovic 41 lead the batting for East’s. We bowled out United for 139 with Mark Bitmead the pick of the bowlers taking 4 wickets. This keeps East in the four for the run home to the finals.

D Grade

The form continues to run hot for East Sunbury with East being undefeated into the Christmas break. Bowling first United battered out the overs scoring 8/122 with Gary Williams, Nathan Dent and Patty Penticoss all taking three wickets each. East chased down the runs with runs shared between all batsmen. This has East well clear at the top of the D grade ladder looking forward to finals cricket.

F Grade

East Sunbury took on Bacchus Marsh and after Bacchus Marsh batting first the set a total of 8/151 with Nathan Penticoss taking three wickets. It was a great run chase with Mark Wilkins 45 and Callum Leaver 30*. Then with some heavy hitting at the end from Tahan Kayani 27 East just fell short and were bowled out for 144. Great effort and F grade turn for the final in the four.

H Grade

East Sunbury took on Rupertswood and after bowling first East bowled out Rupo for 241 with Dino Ivancic and John Doyle both taking three wickets. A Great effort at chasing down the score but fell short only to make 170. Great first senior game from Lachlan Brne with 49 and Mark Jenkins 20, Dino Ivancic 25, great effort and good to see there are some young players starting to come through the ranks.
