B Grade
East Sunbury is back on the winner list with a well-deserved win over Sunbury United. Shannon McDorman led the way with the bat making 74 and Mark Hourigan getting himself to 30. East Sunbury finished all out for 223. Jessy Carrol was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 7/78 and supported well by Mark Bitmead 2/21. United were bowled out for 132 giving East Sunbury a well-deserved win.
D Grade
The dominance performance for the D grade East Sunbury side rolls on, with them still not defeated. Making 232 against united the runs come from Gary Williams making 74, Burke Davidson 38 and Liam Williams 30. The high light of the innings was the father son partnership. The bowling was shared around with Cody McDorman taking 3/9 and Liam Williams 2/27, Bowling out United for 173.
F Grade
F also make their way back to the winner circle, batting first it was the two openers that got East Sunbury away Mark Wilkins and Chris Watson both making 53,with East finishing on 235. They bowled out Bacchus Marsh for 211 with Mark Wilkins taking 3/27 and Jake Doyle and Chris Watson both taking two wickets. A great team performance and good to see F grade back on the winner’s board and looking at a spot in the finals.
H Grade
H Grade travelled to Gisborne and after bowling first it was Tahar Kayani taking 3/60 and Jay Brockman and Jeff Dent both taking 2 wickets. Playing on a tight ground and chasing a large total of 313. The chase started off well with John Doyle making 87 and Keith Osborne posting 44. A good captain knock from Bill Welsford of 84* it was not enough with East’s finishing 7/298, it was great to see the boys down the order having a good crack at chasing down the total with some nice shots played by Noel Penticoss and Andrew Wylie.
