Juniors:

Our Under 16s sides hit the field for the first time this year and both started their campaigns in style. Both teams walked away with a win, with Brad Bernacki (U16s Green) and Dylan Landt (U16s Blue) crossing the 50 run mark to start their 2014/15 season. The Under 14s fell short against Rupertswood, only going down by 5 wickets. Liam Watson top scoring with 31 not out. U16s Blue: East Sunbury Blue - 4/99 def Riddells Creek - 3/67 U16s Green: East Sunbury Green - 3/140 def Gisborne White - 6/62 U14s: East Sunbury C.C - 7/118 def by Rupertswood Gold - 5/119 Seniors: Mixed results amongst our Senior sides, with 2/4 teams taking the points in Round 2. The 1st XI took on old rivals Ashfield for the first time in B Grade, with our boys proving too strong on the day winning by 36 runs. Senior Coach Mark Hourigan the top scorer with the bat, hitting a quick fire 41. The 2nds took on Romsey at their the Bendigo Bank Oval in Romsey, with Jake Spiteri and former Coach/star Steve Grey donning the whites for the first time this season. East winning with ease, coming back with plenty to boast about and a solid 58 run win in an all round solid performance. F Grade (3rd XI) took on Sunbury United and fell a few wickets short of victory, losing by 4 wickets. Nathan Lock the best with the ball, taking 2/22. H Grade (4th XI) also took to the field for the first time in season 14/15, only to be beaten by Lancefield in a tight game - Lancefield walking away with a 4 wicket win at home.
